For Catelyn Hawkins, leadership takes many forms. She is a dedicated member of the Horned Frog marching band, a giving member of the local community and a devoted sister. She’s also an individual who marches to the beat of her own saxophone.
Through being a musician and being part of a band, I have definitely learned a lot about being an individual in a group. In a band, there’s probably 100, 200, 300 people in it. If everyone isn’t putting in the work, the end result isn’t going to be as phenomenal.
